How does Syneron Acne Treatment Work?
The AC uses a specific spectrum of light that targets the
bacteria that actually causes acne. When this bacteria
proliferates in clogged pores it can cause bumpy and
inflamed acne lesions. The AC combines light and gentle
radio-frequency energies to decrease proliferation of
acne-causing bacteria, and may also affect the sebaceous
gland from over-production of oil and promote healing of the
skin after acne break-outs.

Does Syneron Acne Treatment hurt?
The sensation is often described as “hot pinch” feeling. The
sensation only lasts for fraction of a second, and you may
feel warmth or a tingling sensation for a short time
afterward. The cooling tip that touches the skin surface

do not use topical anesthetic to numb the skin for this

What happens after each treatment?
Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and
most people return to work or normal activities immediately

What is one of the major causes of Acne?
one of the major causes of acne is caused by plugging of the
opening of oil glands. As a result, the oil is trapped
inside. Certain germs penetrate into the trapped oil and
digest it into irritating chemicals. The skin tries to
reject these chemicals through pustules (pimples), papules
(bumps) and cysts.
Washing the affected areas more than once or twice daily
will not prevent the germs from penetrating into the plugged
oil glands. It will cause dryness, irritation and further
plugging of the oil glands. Thus, excessive washing
aggravates acne. Wash gently with Dove or Purpose soap, one
or twice daily..
