Alexandra Christine Chebil, M.D., F.R.C.S.C. is a Canadian Board Certified ophthalmologist dedicated to providing world-class vision care and laser vision correction. Dr. Chebil strives to continuously refine the procedures she offers her patients. "My goal is to continuously offer my personal best in order to provide my patients with the most advanced eye care and laser eye procedures available."

Before establishing The Lasik Center Medical Group, Inc., a professional medical corporation, Dr. Chebil started her career as a cataract surgeon. Her vast experience includes cataract and refractive surgery as well as comprehensive eye care.

Dr. Chebil has performed thousands of cataract and refractive procedures, including phacoemulsification and presbyopia and astigmatic correcting laser vision correction.

Alexandra Chebil, M.D. has been a featured LASIK expert on National Television (The Learning Channel, Fox TV-LA and LifeTime) where she has performed laser vision correction live for the television audience.
 

She has participated in clinical trials to advance the development of laser vision correction, has instructed other eye surgeons on various lasers and has taught other eye surgeons who were undergoing advanced ophthalmic training.

In addition to treating thousands of patients since the mid 1980's, she has also used laser eye surgery to help members of her own family and staff rid themselves of their glasses and contact lenses. She was one of the first LASIK doctors world-wide to believe in the safety and efficacy of laser vision correction and has performed over 20,000 laser vision procedures, including Custom Wavefront LASIK, Bladeless LASIK, PRK, Epi-LASIK and LASEK. With such extensive experience in vision correction, Dr. Chebil will advise you as to the procedure most suited to your visual needs.
