Alexandra Chebil, M.D., Irvine California

In 1999, Alexandra Chebil, M.D.  founded of The Lasik Center Medical Group -Alexandra Chebil M.D. Inc., a professional corporation dedicated to providing world-class laser vision correction procedures. As head ophthalmologist and chief refractive surgeon, Alexandra Chebil, M.D. is instrumental to providing the latest and most accurate forms of vision correction to her patients.  Dr. Chebil strives to continuously refine procedures offered. “My goal is to continuously offer my personal best in order to provide my patients with the most advanced vision correction procedures available.” 

Alexandra Chebil, M.D. graduated from the University of Montreal School of Medicine, where she continued on to obtain her Fellowship in Ophthalmology in 1986. Dr Chebil has received additional training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute (U.C.L.A.) and the Harvard Medical School.

Starting in 1987, Dr. Chebil was one of the first surgeons world-wide to believe in the safety and efficacy of laser vision correction. She has since performed over 12,000 laser vision procedures, including "No Incision Vision" (Advanced Surface Ablation, PRK and LASEK),  LASIK, and NearVision CK. With such extensive experience in vision correction, Dr. Chebil will advise you as to the procedure most suited to your visual needs.

Alexandra Chebil, M.D. has been a featured guest speaker on National Television (The Learning Channel Fox TV LA and LifeTime), and has been an invited panel expert on Lasik surgery. She has used laser eye surgery to help members of her own family and staff rid themselves of their glasses and contact lenses.

As an expert in the field, Dr. Chebil has conducted seminars and trained other eye surgeons to perform laser corrective procedures. She has been named co-investigator for clinical trials to improve the outcome of laser vision correction.

Our staff specializes in personalized care, with quality of outcome as our main goal. Alexandra Chebil, M.D.  personally performs all her lasik eye surgery in Irvine, and will see you at every office visit, starting with your pre-treatment evaluation, through one full year of follow-up care.
